Lake Patrols

To Begin May 17

The Lake Zoar Authority is gearing up for another boating season. Police patrols will start on May 17 on Lake Zoar.

Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm at Southbury Town Hall. Meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend. The Coast Guard Auxiliary also is present at authority meetings to answer questions.

The board is composed of members from towns that border the lake. The authority is responsible for the areas of water quality, police patrol, weed harvesting, and boating safety.
