Jazz Party To Benefit Hospital Emergency Department

WATERBURY — Waterbury Hospital will host a “Hale To Jazz” Party at the Hale Street House on Saturday, May 24, featuring the musical talents of Don Braden, to benefit the hospital’s Emergency Department.

The event will begin at 6 pm. A limited number of tickets are available for the event at $75 each, or $100 for a sponsorship mention in the event program. In addition to outstanding music, there will be fine cuisine, fine wine, and a live auction. To reserve tickets, call the Hospital’s Fund Development Office at 203-573-6083.

Don Braden will perform with The Don Braden Ensemble. Mr Braden, well known in this area for his work as musical director of the Litchfield Summer Jazz Festival Music School, is a tenor and soprano saxophonist, flutist, composer, clinician and High Note recording artist.

Prizes available during the live auction include dinner for four at Blue Ribbon Sushi in Brooklyn with limousine service and a pair of “Best Friends of the Jazz Festival” tickets donated by Litchfield Performing Arts.
