Dream Job Or Worst Nightmare?
Dream Job Or Worst Nightmare?
STAMFORD â There are more people âin transitionâ in southern Connecticut than ever before. Many because of the economy, some because they are tired of working for someone else and want to be their own boss.
One popular answer is to become a âconsultantâ, but it might be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. IMC, the Institute for Management Consultants, has identified what it takes to be a successful consultant and the price one must pay to achieve this success. The content of their program has been experienced by thousands of people across the United States with the unanimous conclusion, âIt enabled me to make the right decision about my new careerâ
The program, âDream Job or Worst Nightmare,â will be held from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on June 7 at the Sacred Heart University Stamford Campus River Bend Center, 12 Omega Drive, Stamford. The fee is $99 for the session, book, and checklists.
There will be information on defining your services â what you can sell, to whom and why â determining which type of consultant to be â a generalist versus specialist, process versus content, internal versus external â whether to be a solo practitioner or work with or for someone else, and the legal and financial exposure of both.
