Laura B. Santos, 97, of Newtown and Trumbull, died May 12, in Ludlowe Center, Fairfield, with her loving family by her side. Born in New Bedford, Mass., on November 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Maria P. Silva and Domingos J. Botelho.

Her children, Maria Ferreira of Shelton; Leontina Dias of Portugal; Anthony Santos and wife, Debbie, of Trumbull; and Pat Joaquim and husband, Tony, of Southbury; her grandchildren, Domingos and wife, Aldina; Antonio and wife, Eileen; Lucy; Ana and husband, Paul; Diana and husband, Nuno; Luis; Lisa and husband, Steve; Linda and husband, James; Ronald; Kimberly and husband, Anthony; Michael and wife, Alison; and David and wife, Sarah; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren survive her.

Her husband, Ilidio M. Santos; two sons, Amadeu Santos and Arrelindo Santos; a daughter, Gail Palumbo; and a grandson, Gregory Santos, predeceased her.

Friends were invited to attend the funeral May 16 in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
