Smoking Bill Dies

 HARTFORD (AP) – A Connecticut legislative committee has allowed a bill that would have banned smoking at Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort Casino to die. May 12 was the deadline for the Finance Revenue and Bonding Committee to act on the legislation. The proposal could still be brought up as an amendment before the legislative session ends June 3.
