Former Newtown resident Mary Ellen Reiner, now residing in Paradise Hill, Nev., will marry Aurelio Suales-Vargas on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at the Winnemucca Wedding Chapel in Winnemucca, Nev. The brideâs parents are John and Dorothy Coffey of Danbury and Indiantown, Fla.
The groomâs parents are Jose Alfonso Suales-Tamayo and Margarita Varga, from Amajaquillo, Jalisco, Mexico.
For her wedding day Mary Ellen will wear a full-length sheath of ivory brocaded Celtic crosses and a handmade ivory lace mantilla, while the groom will wear a traditional charro suit in ivory with gold sutach embroidery. The eight female attendants will be wearing French blue satin tea-length dresses, while the eight male attendants will be dressed in the caporal style with French blue satin monos, or charro-style ties.
The family will have a celebration at Ranch 25 in Battle Mountain immediately following the service.
This is the brideâs third marriage, having twice been widowed. This is the groomâs first marriage. The groom is the ranch manager for Sage Acres Ranch in Paradise Hill, raising grass-fed Angus beef. The bride is one-year cancer free after defeating breast cancer.
