WALKER INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS 13, NEWTOWN HARDWARE 5: Christina Wolf, Jenn Omasta, Lauren Cascia and Jaclyn Cedor kept the game close for Newtown Hardware for the first four innings.
DR HENRY GELLERT 20, McCHORD ENGINEERING 9: Katie Fielding belted a sixth-inning home run to lead Dr Gellert to the win. Caitlin Thursland had four hits while Kendal Deakin and Michaela Brown each had key hits. Samantha Bucholz, Candice Harrington and Stephanie Henss each pitched well. For McChord, Nicole Krause, Jackie Darigo, Emily Blewett, Laura Hennessey and Christie Caruso all played well.
NEWTOWN HARDWARE 13, NEWTOWN POOLS 12: Jenn Omasta pitched a spectacular game, striking out seven batters in three innings of work to lead Newtown Hardware. Becky Lukeris hit a triple and a double while Heather Snows went 3-for-3 and Coco Peyres went 2-for-3 to power the offense. Christina Wolf blasted a home run and made three tough plays in the field. Jaclyn Cedor played great defense at second. For Newtown Pools, Dana Ward made a double play at third base, Caitlin Calton had a fine game at first, and Chantal Thompson and Meghan Kelley pitched well.

KENDRO LAB PRODUCTS 19, NASE 10: Samantha OâDonnell and Jessica Cosgrove each had two hits and three runs scored to lead Lab Products to the win. Katie Rose Crevier also scored three runs. For NASE, Allison Graham pitched well while Mary Cozens led the offense with two singles and a double.
BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 18, KENDRO LAB PRODUCTS 10: Kaitlin Norcross belted a triple and Michelle Brennan contributed some clutch hitting to lead Tendler. Rachel Warburton made a great catch on a high line drive to lead the defense. For Lab Products, Melissa Shepard singled, doubled and scored two runs while Tricia Reed and Brittany Pasko collected two hits apiece. Jessica Shepard singled, doubled and pitched well.
EXECUTIVE LANDSCAPING 23, DR STEVE LANDIN 12: Valerie Nezvesky, Ali Legros, Kellie Datin and Celeste Vilafano all slugged home runs to lead Executive to the win. For Dr Landin, Michele Paladino belted a homer, Alison McEmber doubled and drove in two runs, Caitlin Kimball tripledm and Laura Konkos played a solid game in the field.
BUS #22 17, POOTATUCK SPIRITS 9: Sara Regensburger led the Bus #22 offense in a win over Pootatuck. Michele Rastelli, Karli Beitel and Courtney Sullivan all had fine defensive games. For Pootatuck, Amanda Krause, Rachel Nicolosi, Jamie Marcucilli and Hillary Smith combined to lead the offense.
POOTATUCK SPIRITS 19, DR STEVEN LANDIN 13: Amanda Chontos pitched well, Amanda Kruase played well in the field and Jamie Marciculli hit the ball hard to lead Pootatuck. For Dr Landin, Sammie Ciaccia belted three doubles and drove in three runs, Becky Sampson singled three times and drove in two runs, Tara Cerreta had two RBI, Julie Landon pitched four solid innings, and Nicole Rua stole home.
NEWTOWN_INSURANCE_11,_DR_STEVEN_LANDIN 9: Becky Huot had four hits and pitched well; Desiree Rosato and Katie DeSimone each had two hits; and Jenny Cupero played outstanding defense to lead Newtown Insurance.For Dr Landin, Julie Landin struck out six batters; Michele Paladino hit a home run and Caitlin Kimball stole home and scored two runs for Dr. Stephen Landon
POOTATUCK SPIRITS 24, BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 10: Kerrie Canavan starred at second base to lead Pootatuck. Megan Groves hit and played well, Kelsey Cantore and Kimberly Solheim played well all-around. For Tendler, Jessice Neufeld, Alan Wenick and Claive Berlioux had fine defensive games as Jenna Moser pitched well and Michelle Brennan had a good game.
CHUBBYâS DELI 23, POOTATUCK SPIRITS 20: Sara Peters belted a home run while Amy Kelley, Annie Grills, Ali Swink and Alyssa Schankman played well to lead Chubbyâs to the win. For Pootatuck, Alex Faeth clubbed a grand slam homer amd Kimberly Solheim had a pair of doubles and a triple to power the offense. Kerrie Canavan and Hillary Smith excelled on defense.
NASE 16, CHUBBYâS DELI 13: Holly OâDay went 3-for-3 with three runs scored, four RBI, and made a double play in the field to lead NASE to the win. Mary Cozens was outstanding behind the plate and went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and three RBI. Katie Orlando and Alyson Graham each drove in a run, with Graham scoring three times. For Chubbyâs, Amy Kelley and Annie Grills homered while Sara Peters, Christian DelRossi, and Cierra Michel scored two runs each.
DR CURTIS BECK 19, CHUBBYâS DELI 15: Ali Swink scored four runs and Amy Kelley drove in four runs to lead Chubbyâs in a losing effort.
THE QUIET COMPANY 13, NEWTOWN INSURANCE 6: Abby Atkinson went 4-for-4 and Erica Vacaro had a pair of hits to lead The Quiet Company to the win. Jackie Us pitched well while Kayla Koschel helped turn a pair of double plays in the field. For Newtown Insurance, Becky Huot, Kate DeSimone and Emily Forestieri each had two hits. Huot (five strikeouts) and DeSimone also pitched well.
THE QUIET COMPANY 17, KENDRO LAB PRODUCTS 5: Adeline Fulmer had a key triple with the bases loaded to lead The Quiet Company at the plate. Erica Vacaro had a fine defensive game at second base while Dana Happel played solid at catcher with two RBI. For Kendro, Christina Ercole went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI while Mariale Renna pitched two solid innings and had a run-scoring hit. Nichole Beatty had a doubled and scored two runs.

DANZIGER HOMES 8, RICCIâS SALON 7: Jessica Edwards collected two timely hits, Eva Cerreta homered and Nicole Reyen drove in a pair of runs to power Danziger to the win. Sarah Edwards pitched a scoreless inning. For Ricciâs, Christine Sanchez played well in the field, Theresa Viesto had a great hit and did well behind the plate, and Stacy Broughton clubbed her first home run of the season.
RICCIâS SALON 9, NEWTOWN JUNIOR WOMEN 4: Christine Sanchez had two hits and Kelley Anne Carney had one to lead Ricciâs to the win. For the Junior Women, Maxx Zimmer and Catherine Kappauf led the offense while Kate Lopiccola, Maggie Morrissey and Katy Caulfield alll had great games.
THE BOB GLEASON GROUP 13, KOSCHEL BUS #16 9: Gina Fenaroli had three hits while Nicole Escoda and Jocelyn Pasko had two hits apiece to lead The Gleason Group to the win. Jennifer Perez added a hit and played well on defense. For Koschel, Alex Caracciolo went 2-for-2 while Haley Keane and Marley Koschel had a great day in the field.
THE BOB GLEASON GROUP 11, TAUNTON PRESS 9: Chelsea Fowler had three hits while Meghan Dawley and Erica Raymond had two hits apiece to power The Gleason Group. Brittany Ziman added a hit and one RBI to the cause. For Taunton, Sara Peck and Casey Day led the offense as Sara Cioffoletti powered the defense.
KOSCHEL BUS # 16 13, TAUNTON PRESS 1: Margaret Cozens went 2-for-2 with an RBI to lead Koschel in the win. Marley Koschel played well at first base and Dayna Djonne pitched a no-hit innings. For Taunton, Kendra OâConnor and Amanda Sharpe pitched well.
MY PLACE PIZZA 11, KOSCHEL BUS #16 4: Annie Connelly, Samantha Ross, Kim Nezvesky and Katie Power had great games to lead My Place while Danielle Petrella and Lucy Remitz led Koschel.
