New England Bounce About 5, Wellbaskets.com 4: New England Bounce About won a close game against Wellbaskets.com. Down by two runs in their final at bat, New England Bounce About rallied to score five runs. Jacklin Gouveia played outstanding defense and contributed with two hits. Julia Anderson sparked the last inning rally with a hit. Singles by Natalie Shaker, Larkin Huffman, and Samantha Gully loaded the bases for Rachel Daum, whose well-hit ball to left field evened the game at 2-2. New England Bounce Aboutâs defense held on to edge Wellbaskets.com. Wellbaskets.com was lead offensively by doubles from Sarah Dowling and Shannon Cheh. Kiernan Kelly had two hits, a stolen base and a RBI. Tess Mubarek made a great catch at short stop to start a double play. The girls rallied for two runs in the last at bat to fall short by one in a back and forth game.
Wellbaskets.com 6, Nuzzo Electric 0: Wellbaskets.com was led offensively by Tegan Doherty with three hits, including a double and two RBI. Abby Hill had two RBI. Noel Carbone had her first RBI of the season. Good pitching came from Sarah Dowling and Doherty, who had three strikeouts. Carly Kreshpan and Keirnan Kelly made strong defensive plays. Nuzzo Electric played its third game of the season, but had a tough time getting runners in scoring position. Alexis Mason and Erin Burns both went 1 for 2 with base hits. Alex Watson also had a great base hit and got a runner out at first in the last inning. Natasha Saavedra kept a deep hit to a double by getting the ball into the short stop and Sammy Strocchia went 2 for 2.
Claims Service International 5, New England Bounce About 3: In a tight battle, Claims Service International squeaked by New England Bounce About. Emily Bell contributed both in the field and on the pitcherâs mound. The hitting was led by Sidney Marino and Leah Hushion. Rylee Mulligan tripled in the last inning to knock in Danielle Otero with the winning run. Both teams played great defense all night.

U12 Division
Dr Baumâs Orthodontics 12, Brookfield 5: Brookfield had excellent defense in the field and kept the game close most of the way. Dr Baumâs Orthodontics kept up the offensive pressure, while Lauren Villamana scored two runs and there were great hits from Grace Frost, Brianna Baranowski, and Alli Morrill. Katie Reilly and Liz Townsend pitched very well for the Bombers and Joanna Vodola and Lauren Villamana led the defense.
Dina 12, Dr Baumâs Orthodontics 7: Clair Hull and Kristina Kowats led Dina with hits, while Madeline Meier and Amanda Vitti pitched amazing innings. Tino DiMartino and Shannon Lynch sparkled on defense, while Dina beat Dr Baumâs Orthodontics Bombers 12-7 in a really exciting game. For Dr Baumâs, Katie Reilly, Annie Hoffman, and Brittany Gonzalez led the offense. Liz Townsend, Caitlyn Linden, and Alli Morrill pitched very strong. Michaela Jackman and Samatha Cody lead the defense.

New Milford Gold 18, Newtown Family Health Care Sharks 10: For the Family Health Care Center Sharks, Justine Hawkins and Anna Guarano pitched well. Offensively, Hannah Godbout, Maddie Erhardt, and Kate Butera all collected hits. Defensively, Lily Holmes, Erin Bernardi, and Sarah Clements all played well. For the New Milford Gold and their winning effort, Katie Kosak smacked a three-run homer, and Emilie Zarba pitched well, frustrating the Sharks.
