Reynolds & Rowella Kicks Off 25th Anniversary With A Day Of Caring

DANBURY — Reynolds and Rowella, an accounting firm with offices in Ridgefield, Wilton, and New Canaan, has reached a milestone — 25 years in business.

Tom Reynolds and Frank Rowella began their business in 1985 with a small office above Main Street in Ridgefield. They have grown considerably over the past 25 years; the firm is now shared by five partners and employs 30 people serving 3,000 clients.

Reynolds and Rowella are known for their benevolence within their communities. Over their 25 years, they have generously donated much needed support and funds to many charitable organizations. In recognition of their anniversary, they are celebrating with a series of special events.

On Tuesday, May 18, they will “kick off” their anniversary celebration by participating in a Day of Caring at The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury’s administrative office at 2 West Street. The firm’s partners and employees will be donating time and funds to support this effort in celebration of Reynolds and Rowella’s many years of giving back to the surrounding communities.

The Day of Caring is being organized by Flight of Fancy Events, Inc, and will be a “green” effort utilizing low VOC paints and recycled materials. The Reynolds and Rowella partners and employees will complete some important projects at the center. They will create a “safe” room for clients that need a stress-free environment, freshen and refurnish the lobby, and refurbish a large support group room. The Women’s Center will be given some TLC by caring, community minded volunteers who take pride in their policy of always giving back to the communities where they work and live.

The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury provides free and confidential services to prevent or lessen the trauma associated with domestic violence, sexual assault, and other major life transitions to thousands of women, children, and men annually.

The programs of the Women’s Center are supported by state and local government, area United Way agencies and the people and businesses in the communities served, including Newtown.
