Newtown Golfers Cruise To Another Win

Newtown High School’s golf team improved to 6-1 in South-West Conference play in a win over Notre Dame-Fairfield at Rock Ridge Country Club on Tuesday. The Nighthawks shot a 165 and Notre Dame defaulted as the team had only two available golfers for the match.

Newtown’s Kevin O’Connell, a senior captain, shot a 37 to earn medalist honors, Zach Dlouhy shot a 38, Abbey Doski shot a 43, and Nick Neves shot a 47 for Newtown.

 The Nighthawks have also been led by captains Chris McCann and Paul Michaud.
