A Successful SNAN Clinic

To the Editor:

The Spay and Neuter Association of Newtown, (SNAN), Inc, would like to thank Taits Every Animal Matters (TEAM) Mobile Cat Clinic for scheduling a special clinic to assist SNAN in spaying, neutering, and vaccinating 39 cats.

A special thank you to the veterinarians and the veterinary technicians for their professionalism, efficiency, and kindness to the animals and owners. Barbara Lynch, who had the most important job of all, setting up the clinic, by taking and returning phone calls to everyone who had a cat and wanted to use the clinic, making sure everyone had their paperwork in order. To Linda and John Stott for setting up the tents to shelter the cats in their carriers while waiting for the clinic. Richard Huiskings, John and Linda for handling all the cat carriers and making sure the intake of animals went smoothly for the veterinary technicians. Gloria Ricco for checking everyone in. Ann Manley and Fran Frisina for being on standby for the vets and technicians for emergency contacts. To Mike Porco for the use of his parking lot to set up the clinic on Glen Road. Rob at Mocha Coffeehouse for the use of his facilities for the veterinary staff. We would also like to thank The Bee for its publicity, which helped us meet our quota.

Sincerely,

Marion Thompson, President

Penny Meek, Treasurer
