Small Business Workshops On CD ROM

PUEBLO, COLO. — Anyone who is considering starting a small business can take a virtual course in the comfort of home. An inexpensive package of CD ROMs by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is available from the Federal Citizen Information Center.

Hear lectures from five IRS presenters on the “Virtual Small Business Workshop” CD ROM. Listen as IRS professionals present the reasons why and how to file taxes electronically. The presenters also explain how to get the most out of the IRS small business website.

In the “As I Start My Business” section, there are answers to questions about deductible business expenses and year-end reporting requirements.
