Road Race To Benefit Bridgeport Hospital

BRIDGEPORT — A five-kilometer road race, wheelchair race, and children’s fun will be part of the first Bridgeport Hospital Home Run to benefit patient care programs and services at the hospital.

The event, presented by Aquarion and sponsored by Health Net, Holiday Inn, and Southern Connecticut Gas, starts at 9 am Sunday, May 30, at Bridgeport’s Ballpark at Harbor Yard, home of the Bridgeport Bluefish.

The certified race course will take participants on a scenic route along Long Island Sound and return them to the diamond inside the ball park.
