Mimi’s Dog Rescue, based in Newtown, has a number of dogs looking for permanent homes. Pumpkin, above, is a fox hound/greyhound mix, one year old, spayed. Pumpkin is smart, good with kids, and gets along with other dogs. Jake, a Labrador/beagle mix, is also one year old, neutered. Jake is playful, great with kids and other dogs. All dogs available at Mimi’s were rescue from a high kill animal shelter in Memphis, Tennessee. All dogs are currently being fostered in Connecticut.
