MERIDEN — Gus Palmieri, Jr, of Newtown has joined the staff of the Connecticut office of BL Companies as a project manager.

Mr Palmieri has more than 25 years of design experience including owning his own design firm. Prior to joining BL Companies, he was project manager with Lothrop Associates in Valhalla, N.Y.

Mr Palmieri received a bachelor of arts degree in architecture from Ohio University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Connecticut Society of Architects, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Board.
