NOTES

Martin Schnurr of Sandy Hook, Meridith Palo, Morgan Hopkins, Timothy Murtha, and Sarah Wilson were named to the honor roll for the fourth marking period at the Canterbury School in New Milford. 

 Holly Phaneuf, Jacqueline Talamo, and Tad Pierson received third marking period honors from Saint Joseph High School.

Rachel Stern and Peter Meisel were named to the dean’s list at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, as a result of their scholastic standing during the first semester of the 2003-04 academic year. Rachel, a first-year student, is a member of the Brooks Quimby Debate Council, the college’s internationally recognized debate team. She is also an active member of the Bates Democrats. Peter, also a first-year student, is a member of the baseball team.

Lauren Nicole Hastedt of Sandy Hook and Thomas J. Zimmerman graduate May 9 from Keene State College in Keene, N.H.
