Borough Budget Vote Rescheduled

The Borough meeting to vote on the proposed 2004-05 annual budget, originally scheduled for Thursday, May 13, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 18, at 7:30 pm at Town Hall South.

The annual budget of $227,143 contains an increase of  $42,113, or 22.8 percent, over the current year’s budget of $185,030.

If approved, the tax rate would be 1 mill, an increase of 0.32 from 0.68 mill for the current year’s budget.
