BASE Technologies 14, Monroe 1 â Kurt Nacewicz, Ian Mason and Dan Spencer combined on a two-hitter, leading BASE to the win. Ricky Gallucci was 3-for-3 with three RBI as Jason Kostecki and Mason collected two hits apiece. Kostecki, Mason and Spencer drove in two runs apiece.

Tendler Real Estate 14, Church Hill 10 â Casey Tenney had three hits while Tucker Schmidt and Andrew LaMarche added two apiece to lead Tendler to the win. Brian Grimes and Leo Spinelli made great catches in the outfield. For Church Hill, Ralph Sergiovanni, Kevin OâConnell, Anthony Lucia and Robbie Phillips each had two hits. Anthony Lucia made a great defensive play at third base.
Tendler Real Estate 5, Natalia Kerler 4 â Alex Kron, Brian Grimes and Tucker Schmidt each had two hits to lead Tendler to the win. Zack Dlouhy had three strikeouts in relief. For Kerler, Adam Wenick, Kyle OâConnor and Michael Coates each had two hits. Brian Kuruc and Marc Reyes made outstanding plays in the field.
Natalia Kerler 16, Edwards Construction 1 â Ryan Lasher homered twice, drove in four runs and scored four runs to lead Natalia Kerler to the win. Dale Neves and Michael Coates pitched well, scattering six hits. Dana Hansen made a solid defensive play. For Edwards, Tyler Edwards had a pair of hits and scored a run as Tory Deakin, Jeff Spencer, Keith McGrath and Daniel Tibolla all had hits.
Natalia Kerler 3, Church Hill Physical Therapy 1 â Nick Neves and Michael Coates made diving catches to spark the defense and lead Natalia Kerler to the win. Kyle OâConnor and Brian Kuruc also made key plays in the field. FOr Church Hill, Anthony Luscia homered and Gary Pepe collected a base hit.
Natalia Kerler 14, Gruce Tile 1 â Kyle OâConnor tripled and homered and drove in five runs to lead Natalia Kerler to the win. Brian Kuruc had two hits and two RBIs as Nick Neves and Ryan Lasher collected two hits apiece. For Gruce, Scott Kim drove in Adam Schankman for the lone run. Kyle Kromberg and Trevor Todd both had base hits.
National League
Screaming Eagles 6, Fireside Inn 4 â A triple play, engineered by Spencer Williams, got the Eagles out of a jam as they then went on to the victory. Williams added two hits, a run and an RBI while Amar Agashe had two hits and 3 RBIs. Alex Saviano and Johnny Fracker pitched well for the Eagles. For Fireside, Daniel Lynch had a double, run scored, RBI and a strong pitching performance to lead the way. Brian Reed also had a strong game on the mound and played well defensively. Patrick Fay added a hit and scored twice while Matt Datin had a good game in the field.
Screaming Eagles 9, Savings Bank of Danbury 0 â Michael Zaccaro had three hits, two runs, two RBIs and a strong game at catcher to lead the Eagles. Sean Maher and Johnny Fracker each had two hits while Chris Giglio pitched well and added a hit with two RBIs. Danbury Savings received strong pitching from Brandon Bowen, Drew Robinson and Robbie Carroll while Steven Zarifis sparkled defensively. Derek Krewson had a double and a good game at catcher.
Screaming Eagles 8, Newtown Police Union 4 â Alex Saviano drove in three runs with two hits (including a triple) and pitched two solid innings to lead the Eagles to another win. Sean Maher pitched two scoreless innings, striking out five. JP Stanton had a hit, RBI and run scored and Amar Agashe added two hits and played well defensively. Brian Czel had a great game for the Police Union, with two hits, three RBIs and two excellent innings pitched. Sean Devaney also pitched two strong innings while Eric Hoffman added two hits and two runs scored. Stephen Clark had a hit and RBI while having a good game behind the plate.
Screaming Eagles 6, Biscoe Excavating 5 â A timely defensive play allowed the Eagles hold onto a close win. Michael Zaccaro had a good game at catcher and threw out the potential tying runner in the last inning. Johnny Wlasuk and Zach Dent also played well in the field and each contributed offensively as well. Johnny Fracker had three doubles and three RBIs. Hunter Dolyak led Biscoe with two hits (including a double), scoring once and adding an RBI. John Smolen scored twice with two hits and Eric McCabe also hit the ball well. Mitch Udiskey pitched two strong innings while Brad Biscoe played well defensively.
Newtown Police Union 2, Connecticut Family Chiropractic 1 â Good base running by Bryan Czel and Andrew McCarthy was the answer for the Police Union. Tim Roberts and Drew McGrath played well in the field for the Family chiropractic.

Linden Consulting 15, Enterprise Electric 9 â Ryan Tita was 4-for-4 with five RBIs and Ian Kirner went 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs to lead Linden to the win. Thomas Johnston made a nice defensive play at the plate, retrieving a wild pitch and putting the tag on before the runner could score. For Enterprise Electric, Brandon Gonzalez anchored the defense as Jeffrey Grasso struck out three in one inning of mound work. Jordan Buyers went 2-for-3 at the plate and scored twice, while Michael Greenwood and Dan Auriela both reached based twice and scored.
Connolly Woodworks 13, Enterprise Electric 2 â Mac Morlock played well in the field as Sean Connolly, Joe Pieretti and Patrick Sullivan sparked the offense to lead Connelly. For Enterprise, Austin Bonadio and Jeffrey Grasso pitched well and Michael Greenwood controlled the plate.
Have Fun, Inc. 6, Connolly Woodworks 3 â Jason Marks and Daniel Snyder contributed to the defense while Jack Kneisel pitched well. Colin Cooper sparked the offense and led Have Fun to the win. For Connelly, Connor Howell made a great catch in the outfield while Clayton Markuch and John Mathews made some great stops in the infield. Patrick Sullivan and Joe Pieretti helped the offense with solid hitting.
Union Savings Bank 14, Connolly Woodworks 7 â Greg Frattaroli had two hits and Ryan Cassidy pitched well to lead Union Savings to the win. Jimmy Mooney and Kevin Phillips also had hits while Michael Reyen made a very nice defensive play. For Connelly, Joe Pieretti and Sean Connolly had key hits while Curtis Droniak, Mike Lengel, and Chris Haylon pitched well.
Newtown Hardware 6, Hickey Septic 4 â Dom Fedak, Brandon Capaldo, and Oliver Powers combined for 11 strikeouts and allowed just three hits to lead Newtown Hardware. Greg Campbell hit a hard gounder to spark the offense and Don Morrisey added an RBI. For Hickey, Chris Tenney, Connor Blanc, and Sean Burson pitched well while Morrison and Wielebinski made great defensive plays to keep it close.
BlindsGuys Yankees 19, Hickey Septic 8 â Kenneth Toal was 2-for-5 with three RBI to lead the BlindsGuys to the win. Sean Ross had four hits and Jacob Leighton scored two runs. William Arndt was solid on the mound and Johnny Kerins held his gound behind the plate. For Hickey, Connor Blanc, Wielebinski, and Chris Tenney had two hits each while Puleri and Daigle pitched well during relief efforts.
Newtown Hardware 14, Union Savings Bank 4 â Matt Pruner, Cullin Merrifield each pitched well and Oliver Powers turned a heads-up double play to spark Newtown Hardware. Brandon Capaldo and Cody Gotthardt powered the offense. For Union Savings, Kevin Phillips made two outstanding plays in the outfield while Ryan Powers and Ryan Cassidy added two hits apiece. Anthony Maki reached base safely all three at bats.
Linden Consulting 11, BlindsGuys 4 â Kyle Wilcox was 4-for-4, including a fifth-inning triple that sparked a six-run explosion to lead Lindin to the win. Thomas Johnston recorded three putouts, including two at home plate, and Ryan Tita notched four assists in the field to anchor the D. Ian Kirner also had three putouts, two clutch hits, and four stolen bases. For the BlindsGuys, Timmy Wilder made a spectacular play on a rocket shot back to the mound. Jack McManus and Ian McWilliams combined for the last two outs across the diamond and Johnny Kerins controlled the plate.
BlindsGuys 12, Have Fun, Inc. 3 â Michael Gregario scored two runs, Eric Terhaar started a fourth-inning rally, and Jack McManus and Ian McWilliams teamed up for four great defensive plays to lead the BlindsGuys. For Have Fun, Andrey Cappozziello had a great defensive play, Connor Mason and Colin Cooper each hit hard line drives and Mason West pitched a solid inning.
Minors
TR Paul 11, Robert Ponsky DDS 7 â Devin DiNicola had three hits and three RBIs to lead TR Paul to the win. Nick Gerbo pitched a scoreless inning and scored twice while Colin Dutt was strong behind the plate. For Ponsky, Andrew Kelley homered and doubles, John Labinsky tripled and Nick Barreto played well in the field.
TR Paul 17, Ferris Acres 1 â John Tolson, Patrick Hogenauer and Scott Schmidt combined to scored eight runs and lead TR Paul to the win. For Ferris, Kaleb Rowe and Dan Gustaford pitched well while Mike Allwein drove in a run.
BASE Technologies 8, Mastercard 7 â Colton Sposta doubled in a run while Joe Davis, Matt Spencer, Wyatt Depuy and Mike Newman collected two hits apiece to lead BASE. For Mastercard, Reid Schmidt belted a single and three-run homer, David Gerics was 3-for-3, Tyler Gibney was 2-for-3, and Sean Elliott made a great play on a slow roller to third base.
BASE Technologies 7, B&K Septic 4 â Mike Newman and Joe Davis banged out two hits apiece as Ben Stoller and Nick Shannon sparked the defense and led BASE to the win. For B&K, Mike Lord and Brendan Williams powered the offense as David Cartisano and Ryan Branecky anchored the D.
Lee J. Demers, Builder 4, B&K Septic 0 â Patrick Capozziello, Pieter Martino and Nick Sajovic pitched well to lead Demers to the win. Scott Buchanan and Sam Langdon were strong defensively. For B&K Septic, Chris Devaney speared a low line drive with the bases loaded. Seth Morris had a good day at the plate. Sam Ashey and David Cartifano pitched well.
Robert S. Ponsky, DDS 3, Lee J. Demers, Builder 0 â Ryan Palmer went 2-for-3, one to deep left, and Evan Swain pulled a shot down the line to lead Ponsky. Jimmy Russo hit one to deep left center and John Labinski pitched well. For Demers, Pieter Martino sparked the offense as Chad Magoulas and Dean Demers pitched well. Michael Koch played well in the field.
Onex 3, Newtown Bee 2 â Kevin LeBlanc had three hits and pitched two strong innings to lead Onex to the win. Mario Pizighelli and Chris Robinson had two hits apiece.
Onex 5, Robert Ponsky DDS 4 â Chris Robinson and Christopher Erikson had two hits apiece to lead Onex to the win. Dylan OâConnor had three hits and pitched two solid innings, striking out six batters. For Ponsky, Evan Swain pulled a hit down left field line. May Lopez threw out a runner at second and Nick Barreto pitched well.
