A Successful Fundraiser

To the Editor:

The Wine Tasting fundraising event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was held at McLaughlin’s Vineyard on May 1.  The sunny warm weather was a treat.

The Goldrush Band provided the great music. The wine sampling was enjoyable. The food was provided by Infinity Therapeutic Massage. A good time was had by all.

Thanks to the local merchants that provided raffle items: Associated Refuse Haulers, Sal e Pepe Restaurant, Andrea’s Pastry Shop, Newtown Florist, Earth Elements Clinical & Therapeutic  Massage, Quality Gem Jewelers, McLaughlin Vineyards, Avance Esthetiques European Skin Care & Day Spa, Big Y Supermarket, Caraluzzi’s Newtown Market, Sportsplex of Bethel, Earth Elements Clinical & Therapeutic Massage, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Pizza Palace.

It is Nicer in Newtown.
