The Fraser-Woods School’s Auction a Success

 To the Editor:

 The Fraser-Woods School’s tenth annual auction dinner was a wonderful success. With the exemplary coordination of the FWS Parents Association, the generosity of the donors as well as the patrons of this year’s auction, the FWS raised funds not only for the operating budget, but also for new lockers, goal posts, basketball hoops, scoreboards, gymnastics equipment, staging equipment, and a PowerPoint projector.

We thank Raymond George of AlphaGraphics for producing quality printing of the auction programs year after year and David Pineault of Premier Tent Party Rentals for the use of his tents. The auction was a success because of the numerous local and greater Newtown area businesses, to whom we give our deepest gratitude.

Finally, it is truly the parents, students, and the school community who by collaborating their talents, efforts, and ideas have made this auction run smoothly and provided a generous gift to the children of The Fraser-Woods School.
