Lillian DeMatteo Petruccelli

Lillian DeMatteo Petruccelli, 88, of Bridgeport, died May 5 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was the wife of the late Salvatore “Samuel” Petruccelli.

Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinando and Frances DeMatteo, and a lifelong city resident.

Survivors include her daughter Denise Hornyak, and her husband, James, of Newtown; her son Daniel Petruccelli, and his wife, Marguerite, of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, Chrystina, Daniel, Samuel, and Gabriel Petruccelli, Matthew and Sean Myslewski; and a great-granddaughter, Lilyana Petruccelli.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 7 in St Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport. Interment was in St Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford.
