Children’s Programs

*Peter and the Wolf, a dance: The Karma Dance Project, a non-profit dance company in residence at The Graceful Planet in Sandy Hook, will bring Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf to life through music and dance on Saturday, May 14, at 2 pm.

This free performance is a great way to introduce children to the instruments of the orchestra and the magic of dance.

*Nutmeg Book Discussion: Goosed by Bill Wallace is the next book to be discussed in our Nutmeg series.

T.P., a birddog, has a good life with Jeff and his family. He has even learned to get along with Cord, the cat. Everything is fine until Jeff’s friend Mandy gives him a Chocolate labrador retriever puppy, and feathers start to fly!

Pick up a copy of the book at the C.H. Booth Library or your school’s media center and join the discussion on Wednesday, May 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

This program is open to students in grades 4 through 6. Call 426-3851 to register.
