EAST HADDAM — Goodspeed Opera House is holding auditions to cast three boys and three girls for its musical production of Summer of ’42, which will run at Goodspeed-at-Chester/The Norma Terris Theatre beginning August 10.

Young people ages 14-17 are welcome to audition on Saturday, June 3, beginning at 10 am at the theatre’s McMillian Rehearsal Studio, on Route 82.

Candidates must be available for four weeks of rehearsal beginning July 18 and a four-week performance run. Interested performers should bring a resume, photo and sheet music and be prepared to sing two Broadway standards: an uptempo song and a ballad. Music must be legible and in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided.
