The Newtown High School softball and baseball teams will compete in a benefit softball game, to support the softball program, at Treadwell Park, 53 Philo Curtis Road, on Saturday, May 13; first pitch is at 7 pm.

This event is open to the public and the Newtown high athletes encourage everybody to attend, including young softball and baseball players. During the game there will be snacks, and sales of baseball hats and softball T-shirts. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children.
