A champagne brunch benefit reception for "The Art of Living," the current exhibition at Avance Day Spa at 32 Church Hill Road, was celebrated on Sunday, May 5.

The show brings together the paintings and illustrations of eight artists, which [naviga:u]will be on view at the spa until July 31[/naviga:u].

Partial proceeds from the sale of the artwork and sale of spa products will be donated to the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps (NVAC).

NVAC members attended the art show opening to explain their work as volunteer emergency medical technicians.

Several dozen people attended the event.
