Food And Clothing Drive

Four Newtown High School juniors will be conducting a food and clothing drive in front of the Grand Union this Sunday, May 14, from 9 am to 4 pm. The students – Kevin Carolan, Nathan Gaines, Nick Savino, and Pat Curran – are doing the project as part of their American Studies class.

Food collected will be donated to the FAITH Food Pantry at St John’s Episcopal Church and clothing collected will be donated to the Newtown Congregational Church thrift shop. For further information, contact Kevin Carolan at 426-6424 or Nathan Gaines at 426-3548.
