Boys U-13 TRAVEL
Bridgeport 3, Cobras 0 â Cobras Keeper Sean Elliott anchored the defense with help from sweeper Drew Sullivan and backs Alec Lockhart and Robert Willis. Peter Kerns, Stephen Conway, and Colin Moller played well in the midfield, with forwards Kieran Lardner and Ian Solaski, and center Pieter Martino playing well on offense.
Cobras 1, Wilton 1 â Ian Solaski had the lone goal for the Cobras. Drew Sullivan had the assist. Kieran Lardner, Yoshi Kohrman-Glaser, and Devin DiNicola fired shots on goal. Defenders Alec Lockhart and Matt Rahtelliâs and goalkeeper Sean Elliott played well. Pieter Martino, Robert Willis, and Colin Moller contributed in the midfield.
BOYS U-14 REC
 Boots 2, Thunderbolts 0 â For the Boots, Jake Tolson and Stephen Jarvis broke open a tight match, each scoring second half goals. Sweeper Luke Piazza and goalie Rob Uhde led the defense to the shutout. For the Thunderbolts, Will Carr and Jimmy Russo anchored a tough defense. Forwards Evan Swain and Mergim Bajralio applied offensive pressure.

BOYS U10 IN HOUSE
Strikers 4, Torpedos 2 â Richard Ciamarra scored twice and Cooper Buonocore and Peter Manfredonia also chipped in goals to lead the Strikers to victory. Bobby Katrinak played a strong game at midfield. Greg Theile and Mike Berko played solidly on defense. For the Torpedos, Zachary Laros and Chris Rovelli scored the goals and Mark Urso and Dylan Solano played strong defensive games.
U10 BOYS REC LEAGUE
Team #5, Team #4â¦The Silencerz â Team #5 went up 5-0 behind 2 goals by Jonathan Guilherme, and single tallies by Hayes Kelchner, Felix Summ and Scott Martin. Boris Kudlac and Akash Ahuja showed hustle and Quinlan Hart made several saves. Team #4 was held scoreless in the first half, but came on strong as the game continued, with tallies late in the game by Christopher Horkachuck and Kyle Watkins. Team #4 was also supported with great defense by Nathan Augenbraun and hustle by Tyler Lenox.

BOYS U8 SOCCER PARK AND REC
Bulldogs 4, Team #2 2 â For the Bulldogs Evan Eggleston scored 2 goals, Shane Gattey had 1 goal and JT Lewis scored his first goal of the season. Jason Bromberg played an outstanding game. For Team #2, Mark Hall and Graham Dowd each scored 1 goal and Thomas Majlinger played a great game in the goal.
Team #9 3, Cobras 2 â Matt Gerbo had 2 goals and Ben Tuffy added 1 for Team #9. Jack MacDonald played great defense. Dylan Sock and Aidan OâLeary scored 1 goal each for the Cobras. R.H. Clark played great defense as the Cobrasâ sweeper.
BOYS U6 REC
Dynamo Kids 2, Tigers 1 â Jake Wechler and Michael Cotton each scored one for the Dynamo Kids. Sam Eppers put forth a tremendous overall effort on the field. For the Tigers, Billy Bruno, Will Pelisson and Kyle Duval had strong offensive showings, and Joseph Pagett and Bobby Elston (in goal) had a great defensive game.
Boys Team U6-01 3, Boys team U6-09 0 â The U6-01 goals were scored by Sean Arnold, Luke Barrett, and Ryan Beardsley, and Kyle Good played a great defensive game for the team. For team U6-09 Trevor Tyrrell, Nikhil Kalra, Eric Moore all played solid games.
Team (#2) 6, Team (#7) 4 - Aidan Moulder led the way for Team (#2) with 4 goals and Bryce Bisset scored 2 goals. Andrew Tomasino and Ben Pinto played tenacious defense, and Devon Pope and Christopher Venezia preserved the win with several key saves in goal. For Team (#7), Harry Lucas scored three goals and Ryan Nolan added a goal. Andrew Gardner, Forrest Anderson and Shea Talbot played outstanding all-around games for their hardworking team.

GIRLS U11 TRAVEL
Lightning 3, Darien 0 â Jessica Keller jump-started the game for the Lightning with an early goal. Emily Riley and Raquel Crespo also scored one apiece. Dale Shearin and Siena Cicarelli were solid in goal, but saw little action thanks to the Lightningâs strong and aggressive backfield. Meaghan Brophy, Meg Korchman and Michelle Zarifis were key to the teamâs defensive effort.
GIRLS U-10 TRAVEL
Newtown Comets 5, Weston 1 â In another balanced attack, the Comets received goals from four different girls and strong efforts from Alyssa Ruefenacht and Katie Mossbarger. Goals were scored by Kelsey Muniz (2), Casey Harkins, Mikayla Kuligowski, and Kim Brello. Alana Murray provided strong midfield pressure, and Sarah Lyon and Emily Charash sparked a solid defense.
GIRLS U14
Mighty Chickens 4, Pumas 1 â For the Mighty Chickens, Rachel Gregoire, Justian Paporoski, Kelli Van Veen, and Emily Clarke scored goals. Alyse Brautigam played well in goal. For the Pumas, Hayley Dunn scored the goal. Chelsea Sayegh and Courtney Yapp played well on defense. Emily Papp and Samantha Luziette played a strong midfield game.

âThat Teamâ 2, Smiters 2 â For âThat Team,â Sarah McMahon and Lauren Sarna scored a goal assisted by Kerry Scallon. Bonnie Buchetto had a strong game in goal and Sera Pisani and Jess Principi had excellent games. Alexandra Duris and Katie Peters had goals for the Smiters and Jessica Lynch, Katie Burns and Claire Bernson had great all-around games.
GIRLS U10 IN HOUSE
Blazing Monkeys 3, Torpedoes 3 â For the Blazing Monkeys, Marina Renzi scored two goals, Megan Weber scored and Maren Brady had an assist. Hannah Grant was solid in goal. Emma Lardner and Katie Laaksonen both had outstanding all-around games. For the Torpedoes, goals were scored by Olivia Harmula (2) and Jackie Mooney. Emma Burns, Emma De Flumeri and Amanda Martinez all played great all around games.
Galaxy 7, Turf Devils 1 â Grace Sandercox, Lucy Helgren, Denise Kuban, Kelly Merrick, and Stella Wetchler played well. Meghan Grimes led the Galaxy offense and Chrissy Moore, Christina Cistulli and Jesse Sailer had a goal a piece. Leah Bromberg played well on defense.
Rockets 3, Super Shooters 0 â The Rocketsâ goals were scored by Jessie Coughlin, Caitlyn Linden and Hannah Booth. Nicole Russo played a great game on offense and defense. For the Super Shooters, Jenna Hansen created scoring opportunities. Amanda Albanesi and Stephanie Devaney played strong midfield games. Katerina Ringes played great defense and Victoria Teixeira was outstanding in goal.
Funky Monkeys 3, Bulldogs 1 â Funky Monkeys goals were by Anna Biondi, Lauren Beier and Amanda Donovan. Zoe Brodsky, Danielle Mola and Sara Lampel played solid all-around games. Maddie Strokis scored for the Bulldogs. Hannah Bellagamba, Hailey Conrad and Emily McCoy played well.

U8 GIRLS
Skunks 3, Dynamites 1 â Annikaren Brady scored 2 and Colleen McCarthy had 1, assisted by Ashling Sugarman, to lead the Skunks. Diana Kirkman controlled the defense. Cassidy Keller of the Dynamites was great on offense. Dani Gaiser and Lauren Carrino were aggressive on defense.
Wolverines 5, Soccer Stars 4 âMaya Neuhoff and Jessica Maturo scored, Chloe Rogalin played well on defense and Abbey Clarke anchored the offense. The Soccer Stars had two goals apiece from McKenna Cerney and Julia Doyle. Great goaltending by Mackenzie Macchiarulo, and solid defense from Sarah Bruno, Taylor Pare and Melissa Shoet led the effort.
Cheetas 5, Champions 1 â Brooke Varnum, Mia Katsuleres, and Lizzie Chamiec-Case were a strong offensive line for the Champions. Katleyn Henchcliffe played well. Lauren Scirone scored two goals for the Cheetas and Sydney Johnson, Bridget Walsh, and Allison Indelicato each scored one. Carly Lindsay played a strong offensive game.
American Eagles 1, Fighting Irish 4 - For the Eagles, Emily Neave scored a goal after taking an outlet pass from Kira Smith. Meghan Doyle and Emily Winch played great all-around games, and Erin Burns and Rachel Tomasino were outstanding in goal. Megan Kelleher, Sophia Albano, Jillian Pieretti and Alexandra Manoni scored for the Irish. Janyce Toth preserved the win with several excellent saves in goal.

Cheetahs 2, Rhinos 2 â Kristen Cirone scored two goals in for the Cheetahs, and Keeley Kortze and Angela Vodola each put one in for the Rhinos. Veronica Vodola played well for the Rhinos. For the Cheetahs, Lauren Adams and Beth Savinelli both played well, and Ally Toth was solid in goal.
