Union Savings 14, Burton Builders 6 â Kristen Tanner went 3-for-3 and scored a pair of runs to lead Union Savings to the win. Emily Rowe walked three times and scored three times while Nicole Elias scored three runs and stole three bases. Ally Modzelewski pitched well, striking out five batters in two innings. For Burton, Brooke Fell had two hits and two RBI while Morghan Moroney had a pair of RBI and Kristen Errico had one RBI.
Burton Builders 23, Newtown Insurance 16 â Tara Hiteshew, Taylor Johnson, Brooke Fell, and Marilyn LaCroce had three hits apiece to lead Burton Builders to the win. Morgan DâAvola pitched well. For Newtown Insurance, Alison Pliszka pitched well while Ashley Kuligowski and Stephanie Sanchez were hot with the bat.
Century 21/Gleason Group 10, Karenâs Fitness 4 â Mary Alicea belted a bases-loaded double in the third inning to lead Century 21 to the win. Paige Woodhouse and Rachel Ruiz combined for 11 strikeouts. For Karenâs Fitness, Michelle Davis collected a pair of hits and scored three runs.
Tendler Real Estate 9, Dr Henry Gellert 8 â Marissa Saravis, Megan Murphy, Brady Eggleston hit the ball hard while Linnea Pearson scored a pair of runs and drove in two more.
Newtown Insurance 13, Karenâs Fitness 8 â Stephanie Sanchez and Ali Pliszka pitched well for Newtown Insurance while Gabriela Mason hit the ball hard. For Karenâs Fitness, Margaret Sullivan sparked the offense while Brittany Soucar and Casey Rudder pitched well.
Century 21/The Gleason Group 11, Newtown Insurance 6 â Sabrina Yudelson, Abby Keough and Paige Woodhouse had two hits apiece to spark Century 21. Rachel Ruiz had three hits and three RBI. For Newtown Insurance, Stephanie Sanchez and Scarlett OâSullivan had a good day on the mound as Ashley Kuligowski, Nicole Scalora and Gabriela Mason hit the ball well.
Burton Builders 8, Century 21/The Gleason Group 5 â Devon Miles, Mary Alicea and Rachel Ruiz combined for six hits and five walks (including a home run by Ruiz) to lead Burton to the win. Jenna Bonaccorso anchored the defense. For Century 21, Morgan DâAvola pitched three fine innings while Nicole Escoda belted a three-run homer and Tara Hiteshew added a solo blast. Kelly Burton and Taylor Johnson had three hits apiece.

Rushefski Consulting 6, Taunton Press 4 â Kate Bowen and Katie Kirrane combined on the mound for a two-hitter to lead Rushefski Consulting to the win. Katie Schmidt belted a grand slam, Kristen Brassard collected two hits, and Alyssa Robertson doubled to power the offense. For Taunton, Nicole Alberico had a fine game with two hits, five stolen bases and three runs scored. Pitcher Stacy Broughton made the play of the game, covering home to tag a runner attempting to steal.
Dr Curtis Beck 16, Drug Center 16 â Heather McGill had a key hit, Nicole Haylon made some fine defensive plays, and Rebecca Reed pitched well for Dr Beck while July Kalt homered, Chelsea Fowler had some key hits, and Jenn Himmelfarb played well at third for Drug Center.
Taunton Press 13, The Quiet Company 11 â Kaila Harrington doubled, tripled and scored three runs to lead Taunton Press to the win. Meghan Barbour and Jordyn Good played well in the field. For The Quiet Company, Nora Lynn Shimko went 3-for-4 and allowed just one hit on the mound. Also, Emily Kluga went 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBI while Jaclyn Van Waalwijk went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI.
Airtech 12, JP Maguire 10 â Jenna Ruddock pitched well and Leigh Snellback had two solid hits to lead Airtech to the win. Makena Cunningham also hit the ball hard to power the offense.
Newtown Hardware 16, Taunton Press 11 â Kelley Tenney had a three-run double and Laura Newberry added three hits to lift Newtown Hardware to the win. Katie Serock and Renee Solheim were excellent in the field and Megan Sajovic pitched well. For Taunton, Kaila Harrington had two homers and four RBI while Stacy Broughton had two singles, a homer and five RBI. Marley Koschel had two singles and Tina Sanchez had one.

Georgeâs Pizza 17, Lexington Gardens 14 â Sara Peters pitched a solid game while Lindsey Greene and Ashley Balsano played solid defense to lead Georgeâs Pizza to the win. Kayla Moore hit well. For Lexington Gardens, Courtney Sullivan and Ally Kirk played well in the field. Shaina Musco doubled to power the offense and Jen Blauvelt pitched well.
Newtown Bee 19, Attorney Edward Kelleher 8 â Jackie Ercole had a solid performance to lead the Newtown Bee to the win. For Kelleher, Mandie LaPorta had three hits to lead the offense. Ali Swink, Lauren Jones and Lauren Kostes had fine performances.
Villa Restaurant 19, Georgeâs Pizza 16 â Alison McEmber keyed the go-ahead rally by legging out a hit in the top of the last inning, leading Villa Restaurant to the win. Jill Moser had an RBI double in the third inning and made a stellar defensive play in the last inning. Maddie Pearson made two sparkling plays in the last inning to secure the win. For Georgeâs Pizza, Meredith Palo belted a homer while Catrina Morgan pitched well and Lindsey Greene sparked the defense.
Lexington Gardens 13, Preferred Computer Systems 5 â Ali Kirk, Jen Blauvelt and Jen Truchess collected several hits to power Lexington Gardens. Andrea Rigby sparked the defense and Ashley Christianson pitched well. For PCS, Alison Graham and Katie Midlik pitched a solid game as Jessica Rockwell, Becky Sampson and Daria Maruschak hit the ball hard.
Newtown Bee 18, Attorney Edward Kelleher 11 â Jessica Gaddis went 3-for-3 and Jackie Ercole went 2-for-3 to spark the Newtown Bee to the win. Ami Walston and Lauren Egdahl played well on defense. For Kelleher, Katie Herwig tripled in a pair of runs while Addy Fulmer, Tricia Reed and Ali Swink were strong in the field.
Preferred Computer Systems 9, Newtown Police Union 5 â Katie Midlik, Hillary Smith, Sarah Greenfield (HR), Dana Maruschak and Amy Rosentel hit the ball well to lead PCS to the win.
