Participants can join designer Peggy Therriault as she explains the premise behind feng shui and how to incorporate it into an outdoor landscape, gardens and/or the home. The program will be followed by a tour of the Osborne Homestead Museum featuring a collection of Oriental prints and furnishings.
Light refreshments will be served emphasizing the use of tea in cooking and the varieties of teas available. The event will run from 1 to 3 pm.
Registration for this program may be made by calling the Kellogg Environmental Center at 734-2513. Fee for the program is $10 per person which includes the program, tour and refreshments.
Kellogg Environmental Center is an education facility operated by the Department of Environmental Protection Office of Communications and Education. It is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue in Derby, just off Route 34.
