Charter Communications CommuniTyVision 21 is accepting applications for its Community Access Internship Program. Internships are free and are open on a first-come, first-served basis to residents of Charter Communicationsâ franchise area.
Interns will receive extensive training in all aspects of video production and can use the experience to produce their own community television programs for airing on CommuniTyVision 21.
The internship offers various opportunities to many different people. High School and college students can receive school credit. The program has also proved helpful to some people as an effective way to gain valuable experience in a new career path. Others simple enjoy getting involved in their community and working with others who hold similar interests. All of the interns are encouraged to produce their own community-based programs and receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the session.
A completed application is required to attend the orientation on May 29.
People who reside in the following towns are eligible for the internship: Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Kent, Monroe, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Roxbury, Sherman, Southbury, Trumbull, Washington, and Woodbury.
