Good Shepherd Sunday will be celebrated at the 10:30 am service. Special music includes the duet “Far Above Riches” sung by Alicia and Erin Thomas, a selection by the Chime Choir, and the choir anthem “The Lord Never Closes His Eyes.” Flowers will be distributed to those in attendance by the Sunday School children, who will be singing the song “Someone Special.” Trumpeters during the service are Kurt Texiera and J.D. Chaisson. The calendar for the week includes a meeting of the craft workers on Monday at 7:30 pm, and a meeting of the Finance Committee on Tuesday at 8 pm. On Wednesday, the choir rehearses at 8 pm. On Thursday, Confirmation II meets at 7 pm followed by Council at 8 pm. The Friday Bible Class meets in the church office at 12:30 pm.

Sunday Services, 11 am. All are welcome to hear the worldwide weekly Christian Science Bible Lesson with readings from the Bible and correlative passages from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Join in singing hymns, silent prayer and the Lord’s Prayer. All children up to age 20 are welcome to attend the Christian Science Sunday School, also at 11 am. New pupils are asked to come a few minutes early. Childcare is provided for children too young to attend Sunday School.

Wednesday, Testimony Meeting, 7:30-8:30 pm. Everyone is invited to listen to passages selected from the Bible and Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures on a timely subject, sing hymns and listen to the congregation testify to the healing effects of prayer in their daily lives, as well as give remarks on Christian Science.

Jodi Miklaszewski will give the sermon on Mothers Day Sunday at the 10 am All-Church Worship service presented by the youth of the church. There will be a multi-generational choir singing “Gather Your Children.” Instrumentalists will include Katie Benson on flute, Tim Cardosa on tympani, and Renee Whippie. All the children will worship with their parents. There will be no regular Church School.
