CMAK has expanded its partnership with USA Triathlon, the national governing body of the sport of triathlon, by being chosen as an official member of the USA Kids Tri Program.

USA Kids Tri is the USA Triathlon (USAT) initiative to target support to youth organizations in an effort to introduce and expand the sport of triathlon to our country's youth. The Race4Chase Kids Triathlon Program was chosen due to its successful history of bringing youth triathlon to multiple sites and states, providing the safe and nurturing environment to introduce the sport to many who otherwise would not be able.

USA Triathlon has been a consistent supporter of the Race4Chase Kids Triathlon Program from its inception and the formal acceptance into this new initiative will only help further strengthen CMAK's partnership and drive USAT resources into the Race4Chase program.

As an example of this support, CMAK was chosen by the USA Triathlon Foundation to be a recipient of their 2023 Pillar Grant, providing $5,000 in financial support for the program.

USA Triathlon and USA triathlon Foundation have supported the Race4Chase kids Triathlon Program since 2016 and USA Tri Kids is a new USA Triathlon initiative to support Youth development in the sport of triathlon. The program is free for all participants through grants provided by CMAK to the sites. All of the sites are YMCA based except for the program at the Newtown Community Center. In 2023, there are 29 sites in four states (Connecticut, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and New York, with a new site in Buffalo).
