St Rose of Lima School welcomed visitors on May 3 for Grandparents/Special Persons Day.

Mass was held to start the day, and the special visitors were then invited into the school’s gathering hall for food and entertainment before visiting classrooms with students. Students in the school’s upcoming musical, Getting To Know The Sound of Music, sang songs from the production in the gathering hall while the visitors ate.

Getting To Know The Sound of Music is scheduled to be staged at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street, Thursday, May 9, at 5 pm and 7:30 pm. The production is open to all to attend, and tickets are $10 at the door and available to purchase online at srles.booktix.com.

Director Keri Salustri led students in singing three songs from the production for the special guests on May 3.
