'Annie Jr' Being Staged Friday And Saturday At Reed

With Reed Intermediate School’s musical production of Annie Jr set to take the stage this Friday, May 8, at 7 pm, and Saturday, May 9, at 6 pm, Director Sharon Vetrano said on May 5, the students and everyone involved in the production are excited.

“They are absolutely amazing,” said Ms Vetrano before a run-through rehearsal started on Tuesday. “They worked so incredibly hard.”

The plot of Annie Jr follows a young orphan girl as she searches for a family.

All performances will be in the cafetorium at Reed Intermediate School, 3 Trades Lane. Tickets are $8, and will be available at the door until sold out, according to Ms Vetrano.

Cast members are Katie Bisset as Molly, Paige Farley as Pepper, Julia Minchak as Duffy, Lenie Urbina as Kate, Hannah Loutensock as Tessie, Ailish Roche as July, Quinlyn Kessler as Annie, Catarina DaRocha as Miss Hannigan, Zachary Ziperstein as Bundles McCloskey, Eliza Roth as Apple Seller, Olivia Buchler as Dog Catcher, McKenna Ventresca as Sandy, Max Lucas as Lt Ward, Sarah Bertsche as Grace Farrell, Sawyer Findley as Drake, Emily Dunford as Cecille, Emma Bogursky as Annette, Kate Peterson as Mrs Greer, Geneva Cunningham as Mrs Pugh, CJ Hoekenga as Oliver Warbucks, Melissa Travali as Star-to-Be, Michael Spanneda as Man in Window and Rooster Hannigan, Sarah Nowacki as Usherette, Jonah Birtwell as Radio Announcer, Taegan Smith as Lily St Regis, Jonathan Ingersoll as Bert Healy, Matthew Irving as President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Sean Kenny as Louis Howe.

The orphans are being played by Leena Abdulrahman, Lexi Bisset, Olivia Braga, Olivia Buchler, Olivia Deschenes, Annie Fowler, Chelsea Fowler, Avery Landgrebe, Katie Larson, Carley Nuzzo, Annie Phelps, Ashley Reed, Anna Romano, Eliza Roth, Riley Shelton, Taegan Smith, and Thea Trotta.

The servants are being played by Ann Marie Carlson, Samantha DelGiudice, Elizabeth Garten, Sara Gehm, Joan Gogliettino, Maddie Hintze, Maggie McInerney, Sarah Nowacki, Sophia Soriano, Katie Stan, and Meredith Taylor.

The New Yorkers are being played by Isabella Battaglia, Jonah Birtwell, Riley Burns, Charlotte Branchflower, Charlotte Cartelli, Molly Connors, Sophia Giusto-Sandy, McKenzie Hughes, Matthew Irving, Jonathan Ingersoll, Sean Kenny, Kelly Terifay, Danielle Vigneau, Zachary Ziperstein, and Ella Wanzer.

Crew members are Lindsay Booth, Katherine Kordik, Samantha Kuruc, Lizzy Gotschlich, Emily Litke, Julia Pellicone, Maleeha Ali, and Lexi Ferrera.

Reed Intermediate School students rehearsed on Tuesday, May 5, for performances tonight and tomorrow of Annie Jr.
