Baby Contest

Newtown Junior Women’s Club invites parents to enter their children in the 2009 NJWC Beautiful Baby Contest. The contest is open to children from toddler through age 3.

To enter your child in this year’s contest, send a 4- by 4-inch nonreturnable photo with $10 check made payable to NJWC and mail to NJWC Beautiful Baby Contest, PO Box 217, Botsford CT 06404.

The child’s name and age, and parent’s name and contact phone number should be written on the back of the photo. The contest is open to the first 56 children entered.

A voting booth will be displayed at Stop & Shop in Sand Hill Plaza nightly from May 28 until June 4; at Sandy Hook Fire & Rescue’s LobsterFest June 5–6 (held at the firehouse on Riverside Road); back at Stop & Stop June 7–13; and then at Relay For Life at Fairfield Hills on June 13, where final votes will be accepted and the winner will be announced. The winning child will get his or her photo published in The Newtown Bee, will be featured in the Newtown Labor Day Parade, and receive a family gift basket.
