NFA Program Features Sydney Eddison

Homeowners, land trusts, gardeners, and conservation officials are invited to attend the annual meeting of The Newtown Forest Association, Thursday, May 14, at 7 pm, in the C.H. Booth Library meeting room, 25 Main Street. A special presentation, “Development of a Garden in the Woods,” part of the NFA “Working in Nature’s Garden Series” will be given by noted Newtown gardener, author, and educator Sydney Eddison.

Ms Eddison will discuss the growth, change, and interaction of her Newtown property with the surrounding forest. Methods, techniques, and plantings that accentuate native woods, meadows, and wetlands will be addressed, as well.
