Flanders To Host Farm Day Celebration

WOODBURY — Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust will host a “Farm Day Celebration” on Saturday, May 16, from 1 to 4 pm. It will feature farm and garden-related activities for the whole family.

There will be live farm animals, tractor rides, gardening talks and planting tips, fiber arts demonstrations featuring llama, alpaca and sheep wool, beekeeping basics, kids’ crafts and story time, live entertainment, outdoor cooking demonstrations, food for purchase. The Buz Russell Museum of Antique Farm Tools & Rural Life will also be open.

Activities will be held in and around the North Barn and Community Garden. Parking will be available at Flanders’ main entrance, at the corner of Flanders and Church Hill Roads.

Admission is $5 per person, $10 per family, and $30 for groups of eight or more. For more information, call 263-3711 or visit FlandersNatureCenter.org.
