The Most Wonderful Thing

To the Editor,

On Saturday, May 6, 2000, the most wonderful thing happened. At least 12 young people of all ages along with their senior advisors came to my home. They came from the Newtown Youth Service and the Leadership Group from Danbury.

They all came to do the work around my home that I am no longer capable of doing. They asked what I needed to have done. They not only did what I told them but also things I didn’t think of. They painted a wall, planted plants that they supplied, raked leaves, and thank God they took the cover off my air conditioner.

My thanks go to all that were involved.
