Waldorf School Offering Tour Of Grade School Classes

Parents are invited to join the Housatonic Valley Waldorf School for a complementary tour of grade school classes in session on Wednesday, May 12, beginning at 8:45 am at 1 Jacklin Road in Newtown.

The Waldorf education includes academic skills with a focus on strengthening the student’s moral purpose and artistic sense. The curriculum introduces each subject at the appropriate developmental stage in the student’s life with a firm belief that knowledge is best learned experientially and academically. Parents of young children, ages 3 to 6 years old, are invited to register for a sample kindergarten class on either Thursday, May 20k or Friday, June 4k from 9 to 11:30 am.
