Mask & Wig Players Schedule Performance

The Mask & Wig Players, the C.H. Booth Library’s young adult drama group, will perform for families with children age 10 and up, Sunday, May 16, at 3 pm, in a cabaret setting in the meeting room of the C.H. Booth Library.

A Case of Mistaken Identity, a family-friendly play by John Murray, is a crime drama with an unexpected plot twist leaving all the characters wondering just who is who by the end of the show.

Under the direction of theater professional Martha Bishop, this is a new performance mode for the group, who usually perform in a traditional stage setting. Ms Bishop said this type of venue is more difficult for the actors, but the group is always willing to face new challenges.

No tickets or preregistration are needed for the May 16 performance. Refreshments will be served at each table.

Mask & Wig is a teen drama group open to all in sixth grade and up. Led by Ms Bishop, it meets at the library on Tuesdays after school.  New members are always welcome. Contact Margaret Brown, young adult librarian, at 203-426-4533 for more information.
