Italian Dinner

At St Rose Church

The St Rose of Lima Choir is presenting an Italian dinner, “Una Grande Famiglia,” with live music and other activities, on Saturday, May 8, with continuous seating from 5 to 9 pm at the parish hall on Church Hill Road.

The dinner, catered by Sineraglino’s and Luigi’s Bakery, will benefit the St Rose Choir’s 2005 musical pilgrimage to Italy.

Entertainment will be provided by St Rose Choir members accompanied by choir director Joseph Jacovino, who is also the accompanist for the Connecticut Master Chorale, and roaming minstrels between acts. Families are encouraged to bring photocopies of family photographs to share their heritage. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume. There will be hourly door prizes.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children under 12. Parties of eight to 10 people can reserve tables by calling Luisa Olah at 270-6520. Tickets also will be sold after each mass and at the hall door the evening of the event.
