Genealogy Club

To Meet May 12

“Finding What You Want on the Internet” will be the topic at the Genealogy Club of Newtown meeting, Wednesday, May 12, starting at 7 pm. Speaker Donna Moughty is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, and has been conducting family research for more than ten years. She complements her research with her technology background and will present the differences between search engines and databases as well as share hints for more effective genealogical searching on the Internet.

Meetings of the genealogy club are open to the public, and are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the C.H. Booth Library. Club members are from Newtown, Shelton, Brookfield, Danbury, Trumbull, Redding, Southbury, and New Milford.
