25 Years Of Service

To the Editor:

As April passes, we take a moment to appreciate the beauty that is blossoming all around us — we celebrate life and all that nurtures growth. It is also a time for Newtown Youth Services, Inc, to recognize the many volunteers who share their “personal gifts” in helping us to foster our children’s growth.

We realize our volunteer’s compassion and commitment to support the efforts of organizations such as Newtown Youth Services, serving the needs of children and families living in Newtown. And for this we are especially grateful. If we could put a price on volunteerism and as the commercial would go: “knowing that you made a difference in the life of a child — Priceless!”

In this year, Newtown Youth Services is proud to celebrate 25 years of service provision to the Town of Newtown. We equally celebrate those whose support continues to help us provide the much-needed counseling services, positive youth development, community activities and family programs we are dedicated to offering. We are aware that in order to strengthen the services we provide, it is essential that we cultivate the interest of concerned community members like our volunteers.

Special congratulations to Mr Bob Tendler and Trinity Episcopal Church, both being honored this upcoming week for their significant and tireless dedication to the quality of life shared by all our Town of Newtown.

It is indeed the volition of our collective community that will raise the quality of life for our Newtown children and families. On behalf of Newtown Youth Services, our Board of Directors, all of our staff, and participants, thank you, everyone, for your commitment to the work of Newtown Youth Services and to the future of our youth.

Please contact us for more information regarding Newtown Youth Services and for volunteer opportunities. Thank You.

Sincerely,

Anthony J. Tozzi, Executive Director
