Newtown High School’s girls’ golf team visited Weston on May 1 and carded a 207 to Weston’s 231 for the victory. Aidan Herbstman was medalist with a low score of 49. Maddy Watson had a 54, Riley Ragan 49, and Lucia St. Lorenzo 55.

After a wet couple of days, the rain held off and the sun broke through during a match on the Newtown Country Club course on May 2. Newtown scored 198 to defeat Immaculate of Danbury (204) and Pomperaug of Southbury (246). Herbstman led Newtown by carding a 49, Watson logged a 54, Ragan 45, and Madelyn Marcisz 50.
