Set in 33 AD, this film follows the biblical story of the Resurrection, as told through the eyes on a non-believer.  Clavius (Fiennes), a Roman military tribune in Judea, and his aide Lucius (Felton) are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to the body of an executed Jew rumored to have risen from the dead, in order to disprove rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.
