Master Woodworker Cherished His Family

Salvatore Guccione, 83, died in April. Born in Sicily, he lived in Argentina for 26 years prior to settling in Bridgeport.

His passing is mourned by his four loving daughters, including Carmen MacLeod, and her husband Scott, of Newtown. He had five beautiful grandchildren, and also leaves behind a brother and several nieces and nephews.

Mr Guccione was a master woodworker and custom cabinetmaker, creating incredible furniture to the specification of any client. His children and grandchildren cherish his creations as reminders of not only his talents, but of his love for his family.

“Thank you for everything you have taught us about life and for all you have done for us. We love you Pop. You will be terribly missed. We know you gave us your best and we certainly gave you ours.”

A prayer service took place May 2. Interment was in Mount Grove Cemetery of Easton.
