A Great And Loving Man

Kris Michael Mathews, 54, Everett, Wash., died April 27, with his loving wife, Barbara J. Mathews, and stepson, Aaron, by his side.

In addition to his wife and stepson, he is survived by two sons, Michael and Nicholas, and their wives; stepson Marc Iorio; siblings Jeff, Gregg, and Shawn Mathews, and their wives, and Debbie Toth of Shelton; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Rosanne and Michael Mathews of Monroe.

Mr Mathews joined the Air Force in 1974, where he served his country guarding the missiles silos in Wichita, Kan. After his service, he was hired by the Boeing Company in Wichita, and later promoted and relocated to Everett, Wash., where he was a supply manager working on the new Boeing Dreamliner Aircraft. At the time of his death, he had more than 35 years of service with the Boeing Company.

A graveside service took place May 4, at the Newtown Village Cemetery Newtown.
