FOR MAY 16 CAPE COD GLASS CLUB TO OFFER LUNCHEON MEETING JUNE 3
Set 5/6 AVV/cd #738242
SANDWICH, MASS. â The Cape Cod Glass Club will end a successful eighth season with a luncheon meeting on Tuesday, June 3, at noon, at the Danâl Webster Inn on Main Street. There will be a cash bar for drinks, and lunch will be served at 12:30.
The annual business meeting will follow the luncheon, as well as an informal auction of members and guestsâ glass objects and books about glass that need a new home. Cards will be provided on which to write a short story, funny or otherwise, on how or why these canât-live-without treasures were acquired.
Once again the club is looking forward to participating in the Sandwich Glass Museumâs Cape Cod Glass Show and Sale to be September 20â21. This is the second year for the show in the Skylight Room of the Corpus Christi Church in Sandwich.
Show dealers and visitors were impressed with the new venue, where this year more space will be available than last. Members volunteer to staff ticket tables, help dealers set up and pack out, and serve as booth sitters for dealers who require a break.
