Weiss To Join GBS

For Beethoven’s Best

BRIDGEPORT — Israeli pianist Yael Weiss will be the featured guest artist with Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra under the baton of its internationally known Conductor Gustav Meier on Saturday, May 21, at 8 pm, at Klein Auditorium.

The program will include “Beethoven’s Best” featuring the Prometheus Overture, Piano Concerto No. 3 and Symphony No. 7. A pre-concert program by the GBS String Quartet will begin at 7 pm.

Tickets range from $18 to $50, $42, $36, $28 and $18 with half-price tickets for students under 21 and other group discounts. For reservations call the GBS box office at 203-576-0263. The box office will be open only on the concert day for phone sale starting at 1 pm and walk-up sales after 5 pm.

Klein Memorial Auditorium is at 910 Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport.
