Tarry With Birds At Tarrywile

DANBURY — On Sunday, May 15, area birders and nature lovers are invited to join Lillinonah Audubon Society (LAS) members and friends on a leisurely two-hour walk to observe migrating birds at Tarrywile.

With its variety of habitats, Tarrywile is a welcome stopover for numerous species of grassland and forest birds as well as warblers and other migrants on their way to breeding grounds in the north.

Meet LAS walk leader Barbara Starr at the parking lot of Tarrywile on Southern Boulevard in Danbury at 8 am. The pace will be relaxed, but there are some steep areas so wear sturdy shoes and bring water.
